MTL Wilenskys

For over 90 years Wilensky's has served up one of Montreal's signature dishes - The Wilensky Special - a salami and bologna sandwich pressed on a kaiser roll. Nothing can be more simple nor more delicious! The artist has captured the history of this ordinary lunch counter by including a glimpse of this landmark's  balcony and window sill and has enhanced the actual mint green paint of the storefront with shades of blue, in aqua and turquoise. I'll take a "special" with a pickle on the side and a cherry-coke from the fountain to wash it down. Yum!
